Irena Bauman has been invited to this event to be hosted by The City of Roskilde and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Roskilde. The symposium is being staged to consider issues relating to identity and the production of difference in new suburban developments. The purpose of the symposium is to position and contextualise this work within a wider international debate, making links to other practice and projects. 16 international practitioners from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines from Denmark and abroad, are to contribute to this important emerging debate. Officers and practitioners who have been involved in the Trekroner Art Plan will also contribute.
