BLA were successful in winning the feasibility study for the establishment of a Digital and Creative Technologies Centre in Hungate, York. The team of consultants is lead by Huddersfield Media Centre with Cultureworks, ESD and Trends Business Research. The centre is to be situated as part of a major mixed-use scheme at Hungate, a 5 ha Brownfield site adjacent to the heart of York city centre. The feasibility study is commissioned from Science City York, Hungate site Developer consortium and Creation (a network of convergent media businesses.), with funding secured from the Yorkshire Forward. The study is expected to be completed by the end of July 2004.
