We had a brilliant day at the Museum Development North conference at Kiplin Hall and Gardens last week. It was a pleasure to share the stories of our projects for the Welcome Centre at Kiplin, and the Museum of Making at Derby Museums and lessons learnt from both. It was fantastic to hear about the roofing works for the Hall by Donald Insall Associates and the improvements to the visitor facilities at the Brontë Parsonage Museum, rounded off with a thought-provoking visioning workshop led by Purcell.
