This project was one of the first major developments in Barnsley’s Regeneration. The building is a symbol of the future heralding a new era in the City’s life. The building form is broken into three elements linked with one atrium. This creates visual permeability through the building, providing clear orientation and connection of the inside and outside and generates excellent communal spaces where the informal meetings which make media centres thrive can take place.
